Privacy policy

Diskera designs and runs specialised study tours abroad for Indonesian students and organisations. In this policy, “Diskera”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of this website, which decides how the personal data described here is used.

When you send an enquiry through the form, we receive the details you enter:

• your name, email address and WhatsApp or phone number
• your organisation, and whether you are a parent, student, school or organisation
• the programme you are interested in, group size, destination and preferred timing
• your message
• the page you sent the enquiry from and, where present, the campaign tags in the link you followed (UTM parameters)

If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your number and the messages you send. We do not ask for identity numbers, passport details or payment details through this website.

To stop spam, the form server keeps a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to 24 hours. It cannot be turned back into your IP address and is deleted automatically.

• to reply to your enquiry and talk through a programme with you
• to plan and propose a programme: destinations, host institutions, agenda and costs
• to understand which pages and campaigns lead to enquiries, so we can improve the website

We process this data because you chose to send it to us and asked us to respond, and to take the steps you request before any programme agreement. We do not sell your personal data.

Enquiries are stored in Diskera’s customer relationship management (CRM) system, which is hosted with a cloud database provider. Email and notification services process your details so that messages can be delivered, such as the reply to you and the alert to our team.

We use these providers only to run the services described here. Some of them may store data on servers outside Indonesia. Access to enquiry data within Diskera is limited to the people who need it to handle your enquiry.

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you, plan and run a programme, and keep a record of our conversations. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Once it is enabled, this website may use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used: for example which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies, and Google processes that data under its own privacy terms. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Enquiries for student programmes are usually sent by a parent, guardian or school. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us with you.

Under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Undang-Undang Nomor 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Pelindungan Data Pribadi), you have rights over your personal data. You can ask us to:

• give you access to the data we hold about you, and a copy of it
• correct or update it
• delete it, or stop using it if you withdraw your consent

We may ask you to confirm who you are before acting on a request, so that your data is not given to someone else.

We may update this policy as the website or our services change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
